On Friday we ventured down to the ICC events centre in Birmingham to collect our Small Business #SBS award from Theo Paphitis! It was a full day of talks, networking and events to enjoy.
The day began with a very informative session from Google which was very beneficial for a small business like us. We also enjoyed sessions from Natwest bank, Linkedin and importantly the charity Mind. This really placed the emphasis on Mental Health in the workplace and taking care of our own wellbeing whilst growing and developing our business.
A highlight of the day was a fabulous fireside chat with fellow Dragon Sara Davies MBE.
Sara spoke inspirationally about how she started in business, her passions, her motivations and maintaining a work life balance with her young family.
We finished the day collecting our award from Theo Paphitis and feeling well and truly motivated to continue enjoying our mapping journey!
